In a progressive jackpot game, a small portion of each bet is added to the main prize pool. The more people play, the larger the jackpot grows. Winning the jackpot usually happens through a specific combination of symbols or via a bonus round. After the jackpot is won, the pool resets and starts again from zero. These games offer the chance of a large prize, but the probability of winning is comparatively low.

In most slot games, a free spin bonus round begins when a specific symbol (usually the scatter) appears a set number of times. Free spins let you spin without placing a bet, and any winnings are added to your real balance. In some games a multiplier is active during free spins, which can multiply your winnings several times over.
